Many brands claim to remove mold and mildew stains, however none of them were very effective in doing so. Startso does.The stains in the tile grout have been completely removed. No other products has been successful.This gel lifted a 20 year old brown stain in my kitchen sink that formed from it being very porous and uncleaned for years by previous tenants. I had tried SO many products, and nothing lifted the brown coating that basically is on the entire sink. This WORKS.Its basically highly concentrated bleach in gel form, so the reviews saying it did nothing are baffling to me. My only guess is that folks applied this to wet surfaces.This should be applied to a DRY surface only, in a medium-thin layer that evenly coats the surface you are trying to bleach. When you squeeze it out of the tube, it will already start to lift where it touches. Quickly disperse the product to cover the surface you wish to clean using a flat, non-absorbent item like computer paper or an old credit card.Before applying, wipe ALL moisture off the surface first, this way the gel can establish direct contact with the surface, with no layer of moisture to interfere. If there is a layer of water, this will not properly stay in place and will spread unevenly to miss many spots.It really does work like magic before your eyes. Again make sure you are dispersing an even coat on the *entire* surface you are bleaching, this will only work where it DIRECTLY touches. Thank you !Still waiting to remove the gel. It has a strong odor that’s giving me quite the headache.Not what I was expecting I left it for 6 hours but maybe about half of the gunk came off.Disappointed. Bleach works better for meEasy to use and very fast working.When nothing else worked, this finally took care of the job!Very easy to use. Worked well had good results.Bought this and it works really well, but one of the images says 1 hour compared to other brands that 5-6 hours but on the back of the bottle it’s says to leave on for 5-6 hours lol lol after 1 hour I didn’t see a difference but after about 3 I did and I am amazed!Just curious what is in this stuff ????? Lol lol only thing it doesn’t clean is grout, I have some brown staining on my grout in the shower and it did nothing, but the caulking yes works great after about 3 hrs !I use three times. Which means every time You have to go through the whole nine yard( let shower room dry completely before you apply, and then let it dry for at least 6 hours……). The point is, the results were very disappointing !Wasting my money, and time!Shower walls look the same as before using the product.... Literally no change. Just spent 5 hours of my day and all i accomplished was making my bathroom a complete mess. The nozzle applicator and bottle is a terrible design for the job, so be prepared to use your finger for every inch of grout. The quantity in the bottle was barely enough for the shower, which is a shame since i figured it would have also been a sufficient amount to complete my kitchen backsplash as well. It did not remove simply with a water rinse as suggested. I needed to scrub it off.Don't waste your money. Get a real grout cleaner...This did exactly what i was hoping for. Completely took away the mold/mildew or even just general stains I had in the bathroom/kitchen. Used exactly as described, dry surface and left overnight. Wiped off with a dry paper towel and then went through with a damp one just to clean the residue. Would definitely repurchase.
