Matte Gold Kitchen Faucet with Pull-Down Sprayer - Modern Brass Sink Faucet for Home Cooking

So the product cosmetically is fine and looks well built. As with many “brushed” gold products the “gold” can be different depending on the manufactures taste. This was the case when I purchased this Vigo product…it didn’t match all the other kitchen brushes gold products. It was more an Aztec gold. So I had to return it…and that is when the disappointment began. I ordered two faucets for our two properties…I got one return label, UPS would not ship both boxes taped together, said I needed a separate shipping label for each box. I contacted Amazon who then had to contact the 3rd party seller. Who then contacted me, after the original return request had been honored, to ask why I was returning the product. I stated the return has already been approved, I just need a second label for the second box. Seller then stated I had to pay for return shipping on both boxes and a 10% restocking fee. What? This return had already been authorized. They stated that these new additional rules now apply because I admitted “buyers remorse” by stating I was returning them based on my opinion that the Vigo “brushed gold” was not the gold color I wanted. Many other retailers on Amazon get these things right! Not these guys. Every major retailer has a simple return policy. I would recommend staying away from this brand all together. If they act like this on returning an unused product still in the original box and plastic….imagine if you have a warranty issue! Guess you get screwed like me.I was disappointed in this. Poorly made. It did not fit well in the sink and the handle piece that sticks up did not tighten nor did it stay tight which was frustrating as it was always loose when I went to touch the faucet handle. I would not recommend this brand or style. I ended up ditching this after a year and went with the Kraus one piece handle model when I renovated my kitchen and got a new sink.This is faucet is beautiful and definitely makes a statement! I haven't installed it in my new kitchen yet but it's going to look gorgeous when everything is done. I have the same faucet in stainless in my current kitchen and I love it. It works great and looks great. I also l like this new one has a magnet that attaches the spout to the arm rather than having a clip like my older version - it gives it a sleeker look and nice clean lines. I also love the mix of gold and black which gives it the perfect balance of masculine and feminine vibes.Works fine looks nice. Over the course of a 2 months of use the back magnetic connection has worn off and the metal shows through. Only noticeable when the handle is off the holder. Not great durability for 2 months.We have this faucet with a farm sink in our kitchen. I like the height of it. It is sturdy, looks nice, and works well. We like Vigo. We installed several of their products in our new home.We wanted to get a farmhouse look to our kitchen, this made the change we were looking for. Installation was very easy.Easy to Install and looks great in my kitchenBeautiful in person, love the matte black appearance. But the finish is a little more delicate than I would like. In just a few days of very careful use, it’s gotten a couple of deep irreparable scratches. :(
