This is not your everyday sink. It's a bit like having a child. My previous sinks have been stainless steel, and I kind of dissed them. Because, well, they were STAINLESS STEEL. You, know, impervious. And so hospital-like. And then came this beautiful, heavy, preposterous white giant. Our contractor grumbled a bit, and we decided not to install a garbage disposal, for fear of cracking. But WOW. We are so happy with this sink. It's the focal point of our home. Amazon delivered it carefully and at half the price. It's impervious like stainless steel, but so beautiful that we want to baby it. I wax it with car wax once a week, dry it every night, and wake up to beauty. Highly recommend.
